MITS Capital joins NORDA Dynamics’ new $1 million investment round
NORDA Dynamics, the Ukrainian developer of autonomous drone control systems and MITS Accelerator alumni, secured a fresh funding round. The new $1 million investment was led by Varangians, a Swedish investment company launched in 2025. MITS Capital is pleased to join it among other investors, including Ukrainian fund Angel One, the angel syndicate United Angels Network, and U.S.-based Unpopular VC.
NORDA Dynamics plans to direct the funds toward scaling production and its team, as well as developing new products to enhance UAV autonomy.
“For us, this is not just money but a confirmation that our technologies, battle-proven in war, have a global future in European and overseas markets. We were among the first in the world to scale autonomy modules to tens of thousands of combat deployments in modern warfare, and now we are ready for the next stage. I want to thank our investors for their trust and the NORDA team for their fantastic work. We move forward with our mission in mind,” said Nazar Bihun, co-founder and CEO of NORDA Dynamics.
Since its founding in 2024, NORDA Dynamics’ team of founders and engineers has been focused on creating autonomous UAV control systems capable of operating without GPS, traditional communication channels, and under conditions of active electronic warfare. Modern combat operations increasingly take place in environments with no communication or navigation, and according to user feedback, since 2022 the demand for such solutions has grown exponentially, explains Bihun.
Among the company’s flagship products publicly presented is the universal autonomy module Underdog. “Today, it is the most widely used UAV target guidance system in the combat zone,” says Bihun. With its high efficiency, affordability, and ease of integration, Underdog is ideally suited for large-scale battlefield deployment in modern warfare, he adds.
Another key development is the StableLink stabilization system, which maintains precise azimuth and altitude control even under active electronic warfare and in complete GPS denial. StableLink is already actively used for autonomous missions of relay and minelaying drones, ensuring stable and accurate execution of combat tasks.
“We are excited to see NORDA Dynamics’ rapid progress since graduating from our accelerator program. The founders have a technological vision that helps Ukraine win the drone war, and we are pleased to support it,” said Denys Gurak, co-founder and CIO/COO of MITS Capital.
“We have reviewed many strong defense technology companies in Ukraine, and NORDA’s team is among the best. The company addresses one of the key challenges on the battlefield and has the team and competencies to continue delivering innovative solutions,” said Pär Lager, CEO of Varangians.
The company’s engineers create solutions that ensure mission execution without operator involvement, even in challenging combat or isolated environments. NORDA’s ecosystem products are integrated with dozens of Ukrainian drone manufacturers and have been tested in real combat conditions.
The funds raised will be directed toward intensive R&D, expanding the team of highly qualified engineers, extensive testing programs, and further scaling of the product ecosystem.
